GIVING LIFE A SECOND CHANCE :

3 R FOR LIFE:


                       In everyone’s life there are some situation when they think I don’t want to live, or I don’t want life like this, I don’t have people to share my feeling with. I want to go somewhere where no one will know me.  Right? Sometime we think I want to suicide just because no one really care about me. I want have life that makes me happy.
 
WHAT TO DO WHEN WE HAVE SUCH KIND OF QUESTIONS IN OUR MIND?

We have to think about 3 things, which 3 things? I called it ‘3R’.

 

[1] REMEMBER YOUR LOVED ONCE:

                      Whenever you think I don’t have any reason to live, I don’t want to live here, then firstly, think about your loved once. But before that we have to understand who are your loved once, so the people who stays with you when you have failure and even the same person stays with you when you are successful, then they are your loved once. They might be your parents, friends, husband, wife. Always and always remember your loved once, whenever you feel like quitting your life.



[2] REMEMBER YOUR LIFE.

                           Don’t take your life for granted, just remember without life you are nothing. There are people how don’t have many luxuries, be grateful with what you have. There are people who don’t even have proper room to sleep. And then too we think  to quit our life. No! that is wrong. always remember you have precious life, and that should be lived by you.





[3] REMEMBER YOUR LESSON.  

And last R is remembering your lesson, oh! We all have past and when we think about it we just cry or we have regrets. We have to understand that the past is not for regrets, its for lessons. And when we understand this we don't need any protector. 

When you think about depressed just follow this 3R rule, we will be happy after that.

1. READING MAKES YOU MORE EMPATHETIC

Reading is a way to escape your own life, and can take you to faraway lands, other times, and put you in other people’s shoes. By viewing the world from a point of view that is not your own, you become more empathetic.


In fact, “the currently predominant view is that literary fiction... can be linked to the human capacity to comprehend that other people hold beliefs and desires and that these may differ from one’s own beliefs and desires”

 

2. READING KEEPS YOUR BRAIN HEALTHY

Just as exercise helps your body stay healthier longer, reading is an exercise that helps keep your brain fit. As they say, use it or lose it! Doing puzzles and reading as you age is proven to slow Dementia and Alzheimers (2). The next time you cozy up to read with a cup of tea, you can say you are getting your daily dose of (brain) exercise.





3. READING REDUCES STRESS

If you could reduce your stress levels in under ten minutes by doing something you enjoy, would you? A popular study done by the University of Sussex showed that “stress levels declined by 68 percent after participants read for just six minutes” (3). A good book transports you to another place where your own stresses don’t exist, allowing you to relax.

4. READING HELPS YOU SLEEP BETTER

In this time of constant technological connection, our sleep is suffering. The blue light emitted from screens disrupts melatonin levels. By checking “one last email” you are waking your brain up when you should be relaxing. Then there is the stress of reading the news. As we now know, reading a book helps you to relax.

Having enough restful sleep makes a big impact on how you feel and how productive you are the next day. Instead of checking your work emails or surfing the web before bed, put the screens away and reach for a good book instead. You will thank yourself the next day!

5. READING SETS AN EXAMPLE FOR KIDS

Is reading important to you? If it is, it likely will be important to your children. It is proven that “parents are children’s first and most enduring educators and have a huge influence on their development” (4).

Reading to your child is of course key, but so is showing them that reading matters to you, too. Most parents know that children are excellent mimics, so give them access to books and let them see you reading. It won’t be long until you catch your little person reading to their stuffed animals or curled up with a book instead of watching television.

THE ELEPHANT: [STORY]

THE ELEPHANT:


When walking through an elephant camp, a man noticed that the elephants were only secured with a small rope that was tied around one ankle. He wondered why the elephants didn’t break free from the rope, as the elephants were certainly strong enough to do so.

He asked a trainer why the elephants didn’t try to break free, and the trainer responded by saying that they use the same size rope for baby elephants all the way up to adulthood. Because they’re too small when they’re babies to break free from the rope, they grow up being conditioned that the rope is stronger than they are. As adults, they think the rope can still hold them, so they don’t try to fight it.




The Moral:

The elephants in this case are experiencing learned helplessness. This phenomenon occurs when someone has been conditioned to anticipate discomfort in some way without having a way to avoid it or make it stop. After enough conditioning, the person will stop any attempts to avoid the pain, even if they see an opportunity to escape.

If you go through life thinking that you can’t do something just because you have failed at doing it in the past, you’re living with a fixed mindsetYou have to let go of your limiting beliefs in order to make the breakthroughs that are required for your ultimate success. Don’t let other people tell you that you can’t do something, and don’t hold onto an assumption that you can’t grow and learn from past failures.

WHY SHOULD PEOPLE WRITE THEIR GOALS?

                Goals gives you long term vision and short-term motivation. If we have goals in our mind, it needs to be completed. We have many dreams or goals in our life. We don’t do anything for it. We just think and ignore it. For achieving our goals in proper way, we have to plan the goals and for that we have to start reminding our goals to ourselves. Because It was found that the average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. and the main thought is our goals its about or future. So, for that we have to do habit of our goals. For better future we have to think about our future and for that we have to start writing our goals.


                      
Writing down your goals means that you can visually see them. This is an important point because when we see something, it affects how we act. You're more likely to be productive if you can see what you have to do, instead of just thinking about it. You are 42 percent more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down. Writing your goals down not only forces you to get clear on what, exactly, it is that you want to accomplish, but doing so plays a part in motivating you to complete the tasks necessary for your success.
